Madeleine has always loved animals. She was very fortunate to grow up in Spain by beautiful mountains and beaches, surrounded by nature and growing up with many dogs, cats and even chickens and 

rabbits! She now resides in London, United Kingndon. Just over 20 years ago Madeleine completed a higher national diploma in graphic design, 

but it turned out she was not really into computers after all!

In late 2017 Madeleine was looking for a way to destress and she knew that there was a passion 

she hadn't found just yet. She did some acrylic paints onto canvas, she tried watercolours and 

one day decided to try colour pencils for the first time!

Madeleine is a self taught artist who soon discovered her passion: Drawing animals!

Through improving her skills and the love she feel for dogs, especially mistreated 

greyhounds, she began a fundraiser and donated the funds raised to two Spanish charities 

that rescue Galgos in need and offered a free portrait to the prize winner. 

The two charities helped were @yogalgo and @galgosdelsol..
